Course Description
Have you ever been to a poetry open mic night, heard poets perform, and thought, “Ugh, I wish I could do that” “They’re so brave” “They’re so creative” “They’re so dope” “I could never” etc?
For whatever it’s worth, I’m here to tell you, you CAN do that! You ARE brave! You ARE creative! And I would love to spend some time with you to help you find that voice!
After 20 plus years of writing and performance experience, founding the longest running open mic in Central Florida, and becoming the City of Orlando’s 2nd Poet Laureate, I’ve shifted some of my energy to teaching and coaching others at their pace, with a community of others willing to learn.
Here are the top 5 things writing and performing has done for me over the years, and I believe will do for you.
I’ve become
1) More confident in who I am
2) A stronger critical thinker
3) A better listener
4) An effective communicator
5) A better writer
If any of these traits appeal to you, this “Echoes of Expression” is designed for you. This is an exclusive, in-person experience, in Orlando only. Seasoned poets are also welcome. Can’t wait! Register today! See you on the other side
